To move finland
To move finland
I am Srilankan who is currently lives in Latvia. I hold a schengen visa. I have a plan to move Finland. As a Schengen visa holder any time i can come to Finland and i can live there at least 3 month legally. With in that 3 month can i apply any temporary residence permit or any related document for reside in Finland legally.???? If i wont be able arrange some document would Finland authority (Immigration police) deport me????? Please guide me....
Re: To move finland
The rule really is that you should apply for the Finnish permit in Latvia, but it is not strictly enforced (still failing to do that might make approval less likely). Three months you can stay as a tourist legally, after that you could be thrown away. Of course it could take a long time before your stay is noticed, on the other hand the living costs must be lower there, so unless you can find yourself a job here, why would you want to come?
Re: To move finland
it's not easy to find a job here.income is too law.nobody gives a work for Asians in most cases.that's why I want to move to Finland.

That doesn't make any sense.jayfin wrote:how rude policies... such a big country..
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

Yes it is a huge country. You still won't survive on counting the trees.

You can get a job here but you need to be over qualified to get the job.jayfin wrote: Please guide me....

What do you plan to do once you come here? What are your qualifications? If you think Finland's policies are rude then you will be very unhappy if you come here. The job situation is bad enough even if you speak fluent Finnish and if you don't then they will be next to impossible. I am Sri Lankan by the way and I am advising you that unless you have a job already confirmed here or a very clear plan of study or you have a family member here then I will very strongly advise you not to come here.

Yes, well, your man also confuses the Schengen visa is valid for 90 days, not 90 days per country...

He said "lives in" so I thought he just called his residence permit a visa.Pursuivant wrote:Yes, well, your man also confuses the Schengen visa is valid for 90 days, not 90 days per country...
