Anyone have experience with Ticket.fi? They seem to have come out of nowhere with the best prices (in general). I booked a trip with them now and everything seemed to go well enough. I found my booking already listed on the airlines' system within minutes of booking.
I really wonder how any 'travel agents' survive any more.
Flights - Ticket.fi?
Re: Flights - Ticket.fi?
Best prices?
The flight I'm interested in is 150 euros cheaper on Skyscanner

Sorry - meant to say '(in general)' - have edited. My comment based on searching I did for several trips - plus what seems to be on other forums. One thing is that one is directed there from Momondo which has a good reputation and wide following.Best prices?

What airlines did Skyscanner find for you? Was it a 'far away places' destination?
Re: Flights - Ticket.fi?
we have to face the facts that the time of reeeally cheap flight is over,in 2003 I flew from stansted to alicante for 10 quid, return, with ryanair, good old times. The best bet from finland is now norwegian.com
Re: Flights - Ticket.fi?
I did look at Skyscanner for a few different flights here and there - in all cases the best prices and top suggestions were all 'unavailable' when you asked for 'lisätiedot'
that wasn't the case for ticket.fi
++
anyhow I just wonder how the B&M travel agents are able to manage - I also wonder why the airlines are effectively sending everyone to these net sites - and it all can't be based on volume buying - why should an airline care - or how should it affect their costs - if computer system #1 (net agent) puts 100 through the robot system or computer system #2 (B&M) puts 10 throught the same system?

Re: Flights - Ticket.fi?
Ebookers.fi cheaper than ticket.fi, looking for tickets now and noticed 20 euro difference on ticket.fi (low margins on portals) if you look direct from finnair.fi not much profit for outsiders i guess.
Re: Flights - Ticket.fi?
ebookers can be cheaper in some cases - but that can vary so much that one certainly has to 'shop'
that all depends on what 'net' price the airlines give to the 'agents' - and those vary VERY much on how many empty seats still showing, etc. etc.if you look direct from finnair.fi not much profit for outsiders i guess.
