Hello All of you!
I married with Finnish man and have 2 children. Both of children are Finnish citizenship. 3 months ago my husband moved to live at small village where he was born. I am still living with my children at the center of the city where i can go to study Finnish language. After he is moving then we got an invitation from social office ( lastensuoja osas). At meeting they made those papers: Child Meeting ( Tapaamisliite),Child support ( Lapselle Suoritettava) Child Take care ( lapsen huollosta ja Tapaamisoikeudesta tehdyn sopimuksen vahvistaminen. I have 100% custody of children and my husband have to meet children twice per month.
I would like to ask is this Finnish family law? When the father move to live another place and they have to do those papers? If this is not Finnish family law so it is possible to asking them cancel those papers. At this time My husband and I we do not have any problems. My husband comes to see me and my children every weekend . The social worker also sent living separates (asumuserossa) information to Maistratti. Next summer i already lived in Finland four years. I am planning to submit permanent application next year. But i am worried those information above obstacle my application.
Thanks for reading my message and giving advice.

You have finnish childs so i would say you will get permanent residence permit. Law is clear in your case, finnish childs and government would have to deport or take custody of them too and that wont or cant happen.
You ask about "cancel those papers" so do you want restrict father rights or do you not want to receive support? What do you want?
Those papers are required when parents separate, its agreement how and by whom children are taken care of.

Can meet, not have to meet.Dennis2014 wrote:I have 100% custody of children and my husband have to meet children twice per month.
I suppose you apply for the RP based by family ties. Check what migri means by family: "guardian of a child under 18 years of age". And you have full custody. Can't be more guardian than that.

Presumably the social office helped you to draft papers that are legally valid.Dennis2014 wrote: I would like to ask is this Finnish family law?
Both of you can of course either try to start negotiating the current contracts (custody, visiting rights and financial support) or take them to court, but I kind a got the idea that both of you are reasonably satisfied with how the things are now - so why would you do that? When the father move to live another place and they have to do those papers? As stated by others, as parent and guardian of underage Finnish citizens your residence permit (permanent too) is practically guaranteed. Being divorced without children would have been different.

I would like to say thank very much for explaining about my situation. All the papers were clearly about Child care, Meeting and Support. I only worry about my permanent application residence permit next year. But now i understand about my case. So i do not much worried about it. My husband give me 100% custody of the children and he comes to visit us every weekend. he also has to support for kids every month.
Thanks very much.
