Looking for engineers/scientists with US citizenship
If you have an engineering degree, chemisty degree or other technical degree and are looking for a job in Helsinki, or know someone who is, please send me a message. At this time I'm only looking for those individuals with US citizenships.

What's the job?
This sounds very dodgy. I mean, your job position can be filled by a chemistry scientist and also a computer engineer.. that sounds weird.

Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

If you have not a very good (legal) reason for it, it might be discrimination. At this time I'm only looking for those individuals with US citizenships.

And who is controlling that? Those pencil lovers from the EU? Many jobs are open for people joining our young team, meaning if you are over 35 you can drop dead. Many jobs are for mothertongue Finnish speakers only. Discrimination?

A complain (or a claim) from a rejected applicant (with a reference to this topic) is enough to get official attention.Rick1 wrote:And who is controlling that?

Well they do a lousy job then (as in several other cases, have you read already that you can bump around damaging other cars and you are not obliged to inform the owner?). Look through the adds and you will find mothertongue jobs, which can be easily done by good speaking foreigners, jobs to fit in our young team, jobs only for young professionals etc..Also in this stuck justicesystem it takes years before case is handled and with this government there are even more cuts to come.
