Lost my resident permit!!!!

Hey, i just lost my wallet, which contains my resident permit inside. What should I do, do i really have to go to the Embassador in Helsinki to make a new one?

I presume it was you finnish residence permit. If so check lost and found office, and if nothing is there - just go to the immigration police, they will issue you a new one

Embassador? You go to the local police station to apply for a new card:

If you suspect the wallet was lost, you should make a crime report at the same time.

OP might be out of country. If that's the case then yes, you should contact the Finnish embassy.

He said "in Helsinki", so presumably not. Assuming it was lost in or around Helsinki, there would a couple of places to check (police and a few private lost property offices). Otherwise, as said, he should apply for new at the police. Small hassle and small expense but no big deal.

residence permit sticker on a passport! so, it's a slightly bigger hassle than just getting another sticker as one needs to get a new passport first! For that, one needs to contact his own country's embassy to Finland. Once he gets the passport, he should go to the police station for a new sticker. That said, first better check at lost & found department.

Stickers have not been issued since 2012.
