Can i apply for Finnish citizenship?

Hello everyone!

I have received YKI certificate yesterday and my result is good. I would like to apply for Finnish citizenship next week. At this moment I am still waiting for my permanent resident which i already applied about 2,5 months ago. My permanent resident based on family tie. My husband is Finnish. I would like to ask you should I wait until to get my permanent resident card first or i can apply for citizenship now? My living time in Finland is suitable for applying citizen.

Having permanent permit is not one of the requirements. If you think fulfill them all (probably, if you qualify for permanent permit), you may apply now.

Thank very much for answering. I think that there is no reason to obstacle on my permanent resident permit. it is based on family tie. That's why i was asking you that do i need to wait for permanent resident permit first then i can apply for citizen later.
