Question about car

If I sell my car and buy another, can my insurance be transferred to the other car? If not, what can I do with that insurance if 7 months are still left?

Yes. If you sold your car and wouldn't get new one you'd get a refund.

The default with all types of insurances that I have used is that you pay in advance and get a refund if you terminate in the middle of a period.
