All the student buffets also have "normal" prices that go for under 10€. For example:

There's many more.

Kampin Pippuri doesn't come out too well

To be honest - places with Pizza-Kebab as their main offering have very rarely been good IMO .

Student fare not the idea - it's a monthly lunch meeting - and we've run out of ideas - Gran Delicato has gone down the drain, HOK-Elanto chain pretty usual safga and € (except their 50% deal sometimes at Stone's) - La Famiglia a rip-off, etc.Cafe Rouge nice - but always much too much garlic. The 'all you can eat' gig not really the aim - 10-12€ for good food the idea - and the chance to talk.

ha ha ha, you want to have lunch in class restaurant which offers nice brewed cofee after the lunch so you can continue the chit-chat after your monthly meeting, and you don't want Kebabs, Indians, Chinese, Students and your budget in less than 10 Euros in Helsinki?

Dream On
Not really - there are places where the 'request' works -- eg Cafe Balzac 10-11 (but only a few tables so one dsnt want to feel guilty hanging on) -- Farouge is 10-12 -- FaFa makes a good sandwich for 10 or less and no one throws you out - 10-12 just fine - and I certainly understand the econ of running a restaurant so don't want to be imposing or unreasonable. NO need for the after-lunch coffee - not at all!

And Cafe Rouge would be just great if someone would cut off their (excess) garlic supply :-)

But by all means find me another place where you get four unlimited courses of good food in a good, clean place, that's convenient to transport, costs less than 10e and preferably has Michelin stars ;) Of the 9 other people I know who've been, all of them enjoyed the food.
OK - will give it a shot - why not? Thanks
