Appeal for Residence Permit

Post by robert.K » Fri Oct 24, 2014 9:17 pm

I know there are many old and new threads regarding this. I also tried to read those but didn't find that answer what I am looking for. I shall not bother u by telling the whole story at this point. Its not also necessary. The common story is true for mine too.

Shortly, I got negative decision because of shortage of monthly income for the application of family ties. I am asked to appeal in administrative court. In a paper they wrote something about the appeal procedure . Still I have some simple question as follows-

1. Is there any prescribed form to appeal? or I can write my opinion in a plain white paper with supporting document and can submit it to police station.

2. Can my savings in a bank be used to show that the small deficit amount could be provided from my savings? Do they consider bank saving on this family ties permit issue? I know for student permit they consider , but not sure about family ties matter.

3.Untill appeal decision comes what will be my permit status here? So far I know, I cant move to another country during this period. Will Kela continue their support during this period? And shall I get permission to work here during this period as I was before entitled to?

It would be nice if you please en-light these issue. And sorry If I repeated anything that was discussed in some thread. Thanks.

Regards,
Robert

There is no form. You can format it on plain white paper like you said.

There's only one set of rules that cover both student and family ties applications. Yes, your bank account does count.

The permit status will be the same as before the police/migri issued their decision. The decision only comes into force once the administrative court has issued their decision.

Thank. I checked it later. Point 1 and 3 are OK. But for above point 2, didn't find any law or some guideline in Migri page that they consider the Bank saving for extending family ties residence permit (A type). Do you have any link?

Form is free, but there are points that should be covered and you should submit it to the correct address within designated time. I'd assume that means to the relevant administrative court, not police station. General instructions on filing an appeal on administrative issues:
