Hi,
I am a Master's student in my last year of study and I got a problem.
I just got a new job contract on a company after working as an intern there for the summer.
The contract is a full time one year contract and I am wondering if I need to apply for a different
residence permit.
I would really appreciate it if anyone can advice me on what I can do or if anyone has been in a similar situation.
Thanks in advance!

Yes, if it's a full-time job and your employer is expecting you to work more than 5 hours a day, then you need a new residence permit, but you cannot work full-time until you get your new work-based RP approved.
You can agree with your employer that you'll work 5h/day while your RP application is being processed, and that you'll work full 7.h/day after you get the RP.
Well, that's what I did.

Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.
