Hi all
I was wondering what are the estimated monthly costs of maintaining a car excluding fuel, but including depreciation of a "relatively new" car, not an old model (normal car for a family of 4, not a small one I mean). I would replace the car every 4-5 years
Any hint? Just estimates, to have an idea of it. I do not want to include fuel because I know what are my monthly expenses in fuel
Thanks

I am paying quite a nice amount of taxes on my company car and I was wondering if it would be more cost effective to buy a car myself. Insurance, check you own insurance company. Every company should have calculator available.
One set of tyres, both summer and winter.
www.katsastushinnat.fi yearly or yearly minus one year.
Services.. yearly?
Plus what is the depreciation... check autotalli.com/nettiauto.fi and you should get some idea.

Which car do you want? A 25-30k kia, Renault etc, 35-40 VW or a higher end Volvo
In the early years cost will be much higher as you'll need to pay the full price but after first exchange cost would go down.
You pay for the car+ road tax+ insurance+ maintenance costs. For a low end car it can roughly be around 600-800 euros per month if you plan to pay for it in 5 years. Depreciation around 3000e/year
