Hello,
I live in Helsinki. I would like to grow some chilly, tomato, cucumber etc at my home.
But, I never did it before. So, I have to start from zero.
So, I would appreciate if experienced people can help me giving me guidelines how to do it. Like, where I can buy cheap tubs/ containers, soil, fertilizer etc.? I have seeds btw.
Thank you in advance..

Prisma has all the pots and compost you need. The pots with a reservoir in the bottom are handy if you are ever away from home for a couple of days. I have had best results with the most expensive "seedling" compost. Start your seeds as early as possible next spring, in egg boxes.
Try the variety "northern plenty" for tomatoes. Remember to pluck off the "steelers" from the fork. Also have a google for info on tomatoes, there's a lot of knowledge on more specialist forums. Finally, I've found growing stuff in pots to be more of a hobby, I've never managed large enough crops to cover demand.
