RP application status on "Being Decided On" for 3 weeks...

Hello house
I am really worried about my RP application for study...my status on migri changed to being decided on 3weeks ago, and its been like that since....already, my application is getting to 3 months now (application initiated in september), Is there anybody with similar experience? Is this normal? Any 1 have an idea wat can be delaying d decision?...pls infos will help.

It can be one of many things, over none of which you have control at this point. Just keep waiting.

I'd say it isn't normal. Student applications are treated as urgent and usually go through quite quickly. I have a feeling you didn't cross your t's and dot your i's. Or that migri effed up something.

Oh! My...the thing is...I tried my best in making sure I applied coRrectly.....I dnt knw what could be wrong...am just amazed at d number of days its been on "being decided on"...

Its now 5weeks my application has been on "being decided on" and no info or change yet...

I assume you know your application case number, I would suggest you to contact them via phone if you did not tried yet. Maybe you would get some better reasons for delay. But calling them multiple times is not a good option too. Note, Christmas holidays already started and many of them are away from work.

Yes....thanx...I av the application number and I called. I was told due to d holiday season decision can't be made now, so I think I just have to chill. U know, its just so funny that I have to wait for decision for close to 2 months.... In most cases...its only processing that I think takes long...

Honestly, 2 months isn't that long. I had to learn to be patient with these things while waiting for my work RP which took 35 weeks (a bit less than 9 months).

@adnan...wow...35weeks is a very long time....application for study permit should nt take dat long...studies start in january.

Stude permits get priority handling so they usually get handled before school starts. adnan says in his post that he is talking about a work RP which does not get priority.
