English Skills

Post by Chapri » Thu Jan 08, 2015 7:37 pm

Hi everyone,

So, I was looking at the application form -I still have to do one year of secondary school though - to see what information I had to give.
On one point I got to the proof of English language skills. It says, and I also knew, that any non-EU/EEA citizen must proof it.
Well, I have a Dutch nationality and live in Belgium, so I'm an EU citizen, though I don't know what I should answer this question with. Do I also have to proof it with some kind of certificate? There's no option "Completed upper secondary school education in the EU". Also Belgium doesn't give the IB, EB or RB diploma. [Or not that I know]

Thanks in advance (:

Maybe that could be useful indeed,
I wanted to apply for Information Technology in Oulu. On the site of the university, it says clearly that I shouldn't have to proof it.
An applicant who is applying with a non-Finnish qualification and is not a citizen of an EU/EEA country must provide proof of their English language skills.
