Finland Salary Guide
Finland Salary Guide
Hi All, I am an Indian process engineer (Graduate Chemical Engineer) with 11 years of experience and have received a job offer for the post of Senior Process Engineer in Helsinki. The offer is for a monthly gross salary of Euro 5000. I need the advice of the boarders here about whether this is a good number to accept? I am married with no kids and have a modest living standard. How much can I expect to save monthly/yearly out of this salary? Will asking for Euro 6000 p.m. in counter offer be a bad idea?

Bargain on your own risk if required. Yes you can check the average salaries overview at http://www.glassdoor.com might you find reviews about the same companies by there employees.
You must know the Indian government recently signed contract with Finnish Social Security Services - mainly related to pensions etc Better find out locally what that agreement stands for,
After paying taxes - you still can save that depend on your life style and hobbies. As far as the figure is concerned - it is a good figure in general and its above average

I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse. I'm gonna grant him all my old underwears that fit his head helping his nose stays in place

Dear All,
How much will be expenses with two Kids (10 and 4ys) for a family of 4 in Helsinki? We are average person, dont need extra expenses. Will 3000 Euro per month before tax will be fine? How about health insurance deduction? What will be net money in hand with this salary?

Well its just and just at the income requirement bracket. If you start to then calculate what expenses are.... rent, electricity, your bus pass, and then enough potatoes to last the month, you won't have to worry about having anything in hand.ks0297 wrote:Dear All,
