whne is the right time to start appying for my RP??

Im South African national and my husband lives in Finland on a residece permit I have submitted our marriage certificate at the Finnish embassy today so that his status can be updated.. so my question is when is the right time to start appyling for my RP?

Depends on the category of RP of your husband - you may apply for RP as a spouse anytime once the consulate confirms about the updates you made with them. This can be done online.

Depends on the category of RP of your husband - you may apply for RP as a spouse anytime once the consulate confirms about the updates you made with them. This can be done online.

I assume the certificate was submitted to the embassy in order to update the population register in Finland. This is not required for the RP process so the process can be started whenever. The answer: whenever the OP feels it's the right time.
