I am an Engineering student from the US applying for internships in Finland. What kind of permit do I need for this? How would I go about getting that permit, and how much time does it take to process?

Usually Internship less than 3 months for Yanks may not need permit in EU. So No Permit -> No Processing Time.

The Engineering Students in Finland are having hard times to find one of themselves, so, better put your beef on trying to find the Internship first...
