Anyone taking Nursing Exam before 17th of April 2015?

Hi,

I'm starting this topic because I want to get in touch with people who are having their Nursing Entrance Exam before the 17th of April 2015. I want to know your experiences, what you found difficult and what kind of written passage was given to you.

I'd appreciate it if you post your whole experience in a new topic once you finish your exam, good luck though, my exam is on 16th in Istanbul.

So, I just took my exam in Novia and this is the details:
First we have a written exam. It is just multiple choice, very situational so it is useless to memorize definitions and process. It is good for 20 points, 8 multiple choice and 2 semi-essay about which theory you like the most and mention two ethical issues that nurses face at work. We then have sentence complete test which is 40 items. Very easy. 30 min break. Then the Psychological test, first is abstract second is 350+ questions which is just true or false. With the given time nomatter how fast I manage to answer per question, I wasn't able to answer it all. So, you really have to be very fast, like almost without self-assessment

My sched for exam is 3:15 so I have 3hours to do nothing.
During interview, the questions are:
-Why I like to be a nurse
- What is nursing for me
- What is my international experience
-What kind of team member I am
- What I think about studying in a multiculture school
- How long I've been in Finland
- What's my Finnish language level
- Am I willing to study Swedish
-How will I sustain my studies

After that she handed me a piece of paper containing the Math test. Simple questions like the patient was given a 300mg paracetamol and she needs to take it 3 a day. How much mg she is taking a day? How much mL in 2.5L. Stuff like that. But you are not allowed to make calculations on paper, just write down the correct answer and do mental calculation.
