What about misleading information?
Most people who aren't you are probably not you, duh! So their cases are different from you. So relying on other people's waiting times might actually be bad for you.

For all my friends who submitted application in October and still waiting for their decision, i have something to share from Migri website. They divide applications into 2 Categories for national passport or a reliable identity document and has had a residence permit upon entry.

1.the applicant holds a national passport or a reliable identity document and has had a residence permit upon entry (passport holders with accurate application
2.the applicant holds a national passport or a reliable identity document and has had a residence permit upon entry, but the application is not considered accurate (other passport holders)

In April 2015, the processing of following applications will be started:

Passport holders:
passport holders with accurate applications: applications submitted in November 2014
other passport holders: applications submitted in September 2014

I think there is something missing or they need some more information. So, application falls into not accurate category and Migri is processing Application submitted in SEPTEMBER for NOT ACCURATE CATEGORY.

I WISH to all my friends who are waiting for their passport decision, may get positive decision very very soon. I know the pain of patience as i too waiting for passport.

It's not misleading if you know how to use that piece of information. If you heavily rely on it, that's a shame. If you use it only to have a rough guess in your mind for when to expect your citizenship, but not necessarily to plan anything crucial based on that, then I can't see the down side.

Haven't you read the previous posts?

Everyone is different. Yours might come in a week. Others might take nine months.

It doesn't really help knowing others length of time.
