Residence Permit

Hi All,

I got letter from Poliisi today to come and collect my residence permit card. Will the immigration Poliisi section be opertaional on saturday?

My spouse is out of station and I thought of collecting both of our cards together on saturday ( 25th April )

Exactly. And the pencil pushers at Poliisi are all not police officers, they're just common office workers. And office hours are Mon-Fri, 'arkipäivinä'. No office clerk in their right mind would work on the weekends..

(Been there, done that, although not for poliisi).

Hi All,

Just want to update you all that immigration Poliisi section will be operational this saturday (25th April 2015) on appointment basis. I checked with the immigration officer today and managed to get appointment on saturday to collect my spouse permit.

Thanks for your valuable inputs which was kind of deviating.

You could have just rung the office in the beginning.
