Hi Everyone,
I'm living in Germany. Last month I had a wonderful experience in Helsinki, even though I only stayed in Helsinki for around 12 hours. But I felt great, and I bought some souvenirs from "Helsinki Market Square", for instance: some Finland Flag Pins, some FInland/Helsinki postcards and etc. Because I prepared some gifts for my friends. So when I back to Germany, I send them to my friends by letters, but unfortunately, due to "Deutsche Post" mistakes, I lost some of them, so some of my friends do not receive my gifts so far. I do not have extra gifts for them. But I still want to give some gifts for my friends.
So my questions are:
1. Is there any online shop for souvenirs and also send it to Germany. Because Finland is EU Country, the same as Germany, and also uses Euros. So if you guys know some websites about that, could you please tell me?
2. If there is no online shops for those things, is that possible some of you guys can buy some souvenirs and send them to me? Of course I will pay you, and I will also send you some German gifts as thank you gifts.
Please help me guys, I really need your help. Thank you very much. Hope you guys have a nice day.
A friend from Germany who reaaly need your help!!

I found this Tampere-based souvenir store by a Google search. Here's the English info about them but note that they list their email address and full contact information only on the Finnish page. They do have an online store where you can review their selection (see the sidebar) but they recommend that foreign customers contact them directly in order to negotiate the shipping costs.mp420c wrote:1. On a quick glance, I found this: http://www.suomikauppa.fi/index.php
They deliver abroad, and the site is available in various languages, apparently (incl. German). Not sure they have pins, but seem to have other stuff.
Prices seem to be reasonable.
except for Presidentti kahvi coffee pack! 89.90 eur??!.. It IS good coffee but whoah, seriously, I'm hoping that is a typo there.
You could try searching for 'matkamuisto' (souvenir) or 'matkamuistomyymälä' (souvenir shop).
I tried searching with 'suomenlippupinssi' / suomenlippu pinssi, etc (Finnish flag pin) but that yields a lot of spacialist shops specializing in flags or pins, etc.
