US driving license in Finland

I will be moving to Finland from US. Will my US driving license be sufficient to operate a vehicle in Finland?

It should be fine as long as you have tourist status and your stay is under a year.

If you are planning to stay longer than 2 years/ nearing 2 years of stay you might want to get a Finnish license
Then this link applies

and USA is party to the convention.
