Greetings, I'm trying to understand my score, I'd be grateful if you can help me;

What's the difference between Yhteispisteet and Koepisteet? The lowest accepted score is 21? And 31 is the highest?
Could you help me to understand my exam score?

It seems like Laurea's admission works differently. What i think it is, you can get admitted by two different ways. One is in which, admitted only by result of the exam and the second way in which your high school avg. grade affects thus giving you extra points depending on how good is your avg. grading is.
Yhteispisteet: Your score is 27, lowest admitted is 31, so you would not get in by this criteria ( This criteria is highschool avg grade + exam points )
Koepisteet: Your score is 27, lowest admitted is 21. You got in by this criteria ( This criteria is solely based of the result from the exam )
You can check out admission criteria located somewhere on Laurea's home page.
Different Universities have different admission procedures. For example in Metropolia you can only get admitted solely based on points you have collected from the exam, you wont get any extra points from high school or from prior University.

Yhteispisteet = combined points, koepisteet = points from the test.Adokas wrote:Greetings, I'm trying to understand my score, I'd be grateful if you can help me;

You got 27 points, all from the test. So your total score was 27. Lowest score to get in with only by the test was 21. 31 was the lowest score to get in by combined points (score from the test and points from the report card/dibloma/etc.).

So after I understand their way of acceptance.
I wonder whether you've admitted or not...
Did you get the result?
Because my score is a little higher than yours but they say I was accepted by other UAS and the waiting list with Laurea..
It is quite confussing for the applicants.
Laurea is my second choice and I liked their bright images of the students...
If I have chance I want to choose Laurea...
