We've got an Autoliitto, Veronmaksajaliitto etc.

Is there any private 'users' association of health care systems?

Yes - knew about Valvira

But actually I meant a PRIVATE association that is active regarding all the various ins and outs - and nuances - of the health care world - but from a patient's point of view.

An approach which is not so much about making actual complaints but just trying to get most efficient use of doctors, etc. - and maybe some cautions and stuff like that.

++

It's certainly good that there is an organization such as Valvira but there is always the possibility of the 'pukki kaalimaan vartijana' ilmiö and of course all those people are under the same 'ammattilainen teltta.'

I think the ones that exist are specific to conditions. For example, here's the one for Parkinson's:

Here's a list of such associations from HUS:

Thanks

Those are no doubt useful for patients with those conditions - still, I would hope that there might be an organization for the general approach to NHS - kind of a Users Valvira.

Name of this association seems promising but I have no idea what they do in practice:

That's close to a call of Bingo!

It sure looks like it would approach a lot of the matters I would have in mind - it seems to be mostly aimed at being an umbrella operation for other Ry's - and private people innterested in furthering its aims - although I still haven't found out anything about membership details for private persons.
