Is there a need for an English-speaking Speech Therapist in Turku Finland? My son lives in Finland. I'm considering moving there. I have a Masters Degree in Speech Pathology.

Enrico Fermi was famous, amongst other things, for asking his students to work out problems like "How many piano tuners are there in Chicago?"
So, we can try to do the same for your question:
Population of Turku: 180,000
Percentage of population undergoing speech therapy at any time: 1% (I have no idea if this is correct, my guess is that it's anywhere between 0.1% and 2%)
Percentage of population in Finland whose mother language is neither Finnish, Swedish or Russian: 4% (English as a native language: 0.3%)
This gives 180,000 * 0.01 * 0.04, i.e. about 100 potential clients for speech therapy in Turku in a language that's unlikely to be available already, or about 10 people assuming only those whose native language is English would seek speech therapy in English. Some people who would like speech therapy in English in Turku will already undergo speech therapy, so you would have to assume you cannot recruit 100% of them. Try to make the above estimates more accurate (you could also check how many speech therapists of any language there are in Turku already, or how many English language speech therapists there are in Finland overall), and then ask yourself how many clients you would need to make your business viable.

hmmm.
maybe through the social sector, there might be a need.
there's an international school in turku, maybe you can ask them for further advice:

(the school's in Varissuo, that's 20610 Turku)
