You can use your legal right to get an estimate on when a decision is given.

I applied online on January 13th 2015 and got the decision today! Cheers

Probably adapts to the browser's locale settings.

Nope, it doesn't and it would be quite bad idea IMO to change it based on user's browser settings as it would just cause confusion (imagine a user with different settings than default contacts migri for something and refers to the dates, even migri won't know then).

Dude, just scroll up a bit, you'll see people posting dd.mm.yyyy

Probably they have changed after moving to the enterfinland.fi portal. Also earlier they were using dot separator and now /.

Please keep posting if someone receive decision. It helps others to guess estimate. Migri site is not updated after 9.7.

i applied on a 14 th jan 2015 at pasila police station ans still waiting for a decision ,

I haven't applied yet, but today is 24.8.2015 and I'm still waiting for decision. There must be something wrong with Migri system.

ihi i applied on jan 2015 at the police station and i called today finnish immigrition and they told me that there 4 different qeues and my application is still on a qeue and its takes 18 months . so people be patient and wait .

Yes there are 4 queus... 18 month is for 'others' queue... definition:
