Eh up Junot
Re: Eh up Junot
I haven't really heard of the Okocha link, but it seems to be based on a picture of Big Sam and Bellion in Cannes. Here's what they were saying on a Wanderers' message board:Ace wrote:Whats this Jay-Jay Okocha to Utd, Bellion to Bolton im hearing?
"In today's Mail there's a piccy of Sam with David Bellion and Bellion's
agent. Article says it sparked rumours but that actually they were just
"socialising". Bellion used to play for Cannes, and Sam was there for the
Cannes Film Festival. Eh ? I think he might have better things to do than that ! So, what the hell WAS he doing in Cannes, then, eh ?
Ah well, we'll see.
As for more immediate matters, it will be amusing if Bolton pip newcastle for sixth place on saturday

I hear Okocha's a big United fantgabawm wrote:Drogba is said to stay in Marseille one more year (), but I wish he'd far from France..., and from what I heard Okocha will stay in Bolton..

I dont know much about Drogba to be honest. This Torres sounds like mustard though. Sadly any purchase like that sounds like it will be funded with money for Ruud

I still think we need a defender though

Drogba has been voted best player of the French league this year. Eventhough I'm a PSG fan, I must admit, and it really hurts, that this guy is good and can make the difference by himself. He practically got Newcastle out by himself, and now they are in the final of the UEFA cup... (which hopfully Valencia is gonna win, hope so, hope so, hope so.....). Might be good for you, though I agree you need a good defence, that's why we heard United wants to buy our best defence Argentinian Gabriel Heinze... Please DON'T!!!

If the drop would say "I am unnecesary", there would be no ocean.

The thing with Okocha is that he always thinks aloud and the press obviously pick up on this. His contract ends soon and he says stuff like "maybe I will stay, maybe not, you never know in football".Ace wrote: I hear Okocha's a big United fan![]()
Yesterday he said that he wants to stay because of his popularity with the fans.
Yesterday Reebok agreed to pay Bolton £10m to keep their name on their shirts for 5 more years, so maybe that will influence him

Sure. Just because PSG is crap doesnt mean every team has to be craptgabawm wrote: He practically got Newcastle out by himself, and now they are in the final of the UEFA cup... (which hopfully Valencia is gonna win, hope so, hope so, hope so.....).

But hey, what to expect from an artificial club with no tradition created only 1970, 72 years after OM.

About Okocha:
I know Okocha still from his days in the Bundesliga. An OK player but not THAT talented. Why should ManU take him?
Dont they have money/prestige for a decent striker?
Here in Finland, I have done everything I can to blend-in with the Finns, I've changed my hair color, wore differnet clothes, got different
Actually no. We have the money but we end up getting effed about and either paying top whack for second rate or losing out to AC Milan, Real Madrid, Barca, Arsenal and Chelsea now for who we want.pierrot wrote:Dont they have money/prestige for a decent striker?
Dont forget Manchesters a pretty dismal city. Despite our football clubs success.
Ahh, these were the days when the logo on the shirt was still worth something.Ace wrote:Actually no. I think ManU and Bayern are the only two major clubs in Europe with actually no debts and even a positive financial result at the end of the season, they have responsible financial management.
The spanish and italian leagues will sooner or later implode when the UEFA decides about more financial regulations or superivision.
