CNN candidate debate

Post by harryc » Mon Sep 14, 2015 2:19 pm

Has anyone found out if the US DEbate on 16th (CNN) is going to be able to be seen on the internet - live?

It will be on cable I guess - but I don't have cable nor a Lexus.

Someone will put it up on YT - just as the lkast one is still there - but I was wondering if one might be able to watch live.

Am I reading too hastily (and too cynically) - or is that just saying I will be able to read/see/hear ADS for the debate??

Now the question is: Will it be geo-locked to the United States only?

Edit: Seems like it will air on CNN International, so I don't think it will be geo-locked.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.

So I wonder what all the yakkety-yak was ONLY about a 'Preview' - as per the not logging in (with a paid account surely)

I think it will only be available to paying customers.

You should be required to pay to watch anything funnier than Eddie Izzard, and this year's clown car is definitely funnier than Eddie Izzard.

(Sorry Eddie, no insult intended. Not to you, anyway. It's just been a bumper year on the bozo farm.)
As he persisted, I was obliged to tootle him gently at first and then, seeing no improvement, to trumpet him vigorously with my horn.

On a slightly related note, since you are evidently interested in US politics (or just the charade that is the Republican primary?): do you know any way to obtain an original Bernie Sanders 2016 T-shirt from outside the US?

Presumably because the purchase is considered in part a donation, it doesn't seem possible to buy one through the campaign website for non-US citizens. I'd be happy to pay for shipping, but I can only find replica shirts on ebay, cafepress, etc.

You can also watch CNN live for free online in other places.
Try one of those links:
http://www.stream2watch.co/live-tv/us/cnn-live-stream
http://www.freeintertv.com/view/id-200
http://www.giniko.com/watch.php?id=26

http://www.hulkusc.com/cnn-international-live-stream/
http://freetvall.com/video/5U2B12R6R878/CNN-USA

At the time of this post, all of the link are working.
Good job - thanks!

Had a look at them all and left them on for awhile

Best is

http://www.freeintertv.com/view/id-200

and you can even set to full screen - with no ads and forced 'sign ups'

Of course, this will jinx it now that I've said this :D
