Does anyone know where I can find this info? I would like to ride a moped here, I have a full UK licence and can drive a car here but I am born after the 80's or whatever it is so I can't just ride one... I can't take a test here either I suppose since I have a British licence but does anyone know if I can ride one here if I get a motorcycle licence from the UK?

I am not sure since I have a (converted) Finnish licence and had my motorbike even longer than the car but... if I understand you correctly, you have a British car licence and did not change this (yet) to a Finnish one (because you do not stay here?) which if you stay in Finland you should exchange before you live here for 2 years. The question in this case is: are you allowed to drive a moped in Britain with your car licence, if yes than you can do that here too, (for sure) if no than not..(I think... but could be wrongHarrietBeaumont wrote:Does anyone know where I can find this info? Right to drive a moped, a tractor or a moped car (?) is included in B category drivers license.
So the odds are good your are good to go as is all you need is a license in the UK that allows you to drive an essentially normal car of total mass of no more than 3.5 metric tons.

You can just ride one (max. 50 cc & 45 km/h) if you have a valid license for driving a car.
Mopeds are allowed on bike paths if there's a sign "Sallittu mopoille". Otherwise you ride on the shoulder if there is one.
