MA Psychology or Medicine in English?

Post by UilleamGilvoni » Fri Oct 23, 2015 8:26 am

Hello guys, I'm Uilleam from Perú

I'm looking for a university in Finland which has a program in English for a Master Degree in Psychology (I have studied psychology in my country)

and, if there's nothing for psychology... I'm also interested in studying Medicine in English, in any university.

If you guys know about any university teaching in English what I need please let me know

Thank you!

I don't want to sound mean but come ooonnn. How about starting by reading the :lightbulb: 'Read this first' :lightbulb: post -> viewtopic.php?f=20&t=24753, top of the list of this forum, and then using the very handy search function in the upper right hand corner?
You'll also find tons of info just going through other similar posts.
I just did a very simple search for "medicine", and several earlier posts popped up; regarding the teaching languages (mostly Finnish), applying procedures, entrance exams - yes, you need to take an entrance exam, and get approved (very competitive field, lots of applicants, high requirements), to get in, etc.

Also, http://www.google.com is your friend.

To add to what Kössi wrote, I can tell you that the system for electronic journals is in Finnish, and you write the journals in Finnish (even if you are a Swedish speaking Finn, at least in Helsinki). You are not going to get anywhere close to actual patients with only English and even if you did, you would not be able to help them out.

The very idea of Finnish universities offering degree programs in medicine in any languages other than Finnish and Swedish sounds blatantly obtuse.
