Airport law ! please help
Guys I'm going back on new year holidays to my country from Helsinki, I'm going to take 2 dolls with boxes, one used Xbox 360 and my laptop . I'm not going to take any extra luggage with me,(total weight is maybe 6-7kg)I will put Xbox in backpack and going to hold dolls in hand cz they are really expensive one and don't want to damage boxes. will I have any problems with that to take them on plane with me?

Re: Airport law ! please help
No, as long as you take them out of the bags when going through security

thanks for answer. I'm going to make a safe and tight package for them so... I should open the package in Airport?or they will check it without that with that machine. (don't know name332415 wrote:No, as long as you take them out of the bags when going through security

anything you take onboard will go through the xray machine and they might ask you to open boxes, so don't seal your dolls protective boxes with tape (unless you take another roll of tape to reseal it once opened).
Don't choose an exit row since you can't hold things in your lap or put things under the seat in front - I assume you won't put the doll boxes in the overhead bins since people are likely to put their heavy bag on top of yours, carelessly shuffle things around, drop your package onto the head of some other passenger - i've seen all this happen!
How big are the doll boxes? most airlines only allow one carry on bag and perhaps a smaller bag/ladies handbag/laptop in a small case. People don't always follow this rule but if the plane is busy/full then the gate staff will enforce the rules more (BA and LH often do this). You can get around this a little by putting the doll boxes in a carrier bag, then they look like airport shopping and the airlines don't restrict how much airport shopping you can bring onboard (the company running the airport wouldn't like people being told not to shop!).

Your airlines gives restrictions to the hand luggage, so check them and follow the dimensions they are give. Some are stricter than the others.

I don't think God wants you to die. Just mail the dolls if you have to.
