Online shopping! HELP

Hey guys I'm a toy collector and there is coming some Limited Edition items from Disneystore. DS UK ships to Finland but ... I wonder, month ago I ordered from Australia 200$ thing and it was totally insane that my package was in customs and I payed 24% of product's price for import . So... if I order from UK I should do same? I have to pay for import?

No! Everything from within the EU plus the countries like Switzerland etc.. are exempt form import tax and extra VAT, VAT has already been paid when you paid for it.

The thing from Australia, if you only paid 24%, you paid only VAT and not even import tax.. (depends on what it is, how high this is and only if it is more than 150 euro's value)

Whenever you order from abroad the EU, you pay VAT if the VAT would be more than 5€, so the value cannot be more than 20,82€, if you do not want to pay VAT.

No, if you purchase from UK you won't have to pay the tax.

I'm student here and get really mad at first time when ordered Superman figure from AUSTRALIA. it was whole 2 week drama before I got him. so I can't go same again.thanks you cz usually UK website is best way to get her, on USA website there are too many scalpels and she will be sold out in 3 minutes.hope everything will be fine.

You pay UK VAT from stuff sold and sent from UK. Unless the company has sales of over 20k€ (?), then the company must pay Finnish VAT.

I can't understand now. doll's price is 120 Euros from UK disneystore. so I will get it without any extra charges or I have to pay for import :\

There are no extra charges when sent from the UK to Finland.
