How much time does it take non-eu spouse residence permit

Please tell me that how much time does first residence permit take now a days for non-eu spouse married to finnish citizen.

No one can tell you how long it would take, as it varies case by case. However you can see the average processing time here:

I'd also like to point out that migri has a crapload of stuff to process because of would be refugees, so that might make the waiting time longer.

If you take average from everyone, then the result will be the same as migri lists. Someone got their permit sooner? I doesn't matter, they are not you.

How would that give a fair idea? Honestly, walk me through your thought process. How is it that a few individuals' stories will be more "fair" than the averages posted by Migri?

Non-eu here. I got mine in less than 2 months but prior to that, I used to live with my EU husband for a year and a half in his country before moving here.

A friend of mine non-Eu with Fin spouse got hers in 8 months and 1 week. Another non-Eu friend got denied (husband has permanent residency) re-applied as a student and got approved. Not sure how long though as we are not really close. So like what's said on previous comments... it's a case to case basis.

How the process goes for non-eu finnish spouse visa. Do they have to appear only once at Finnish embassy for an interview or being interviewed second time as well.
