Certifiying academic records at the Notary Public

Post by upc » Fri Nov 06, 2015 9:09 am

Hello,

What might be the cost of getting academic records certified by the Notary Public in a place like Lappeenranta?

Many thanks :)

As far as I know, academic records have to be certified by the National Board of Education (which is in Helsinki). The Maistratti can only make and stamp copies of certified documents but cannot certify the original documents themselves. You should be able to find the answers here:
http://www.oph.fi/english/services/reco ... _decisions

It's probably around €300

If you just want a photocopy of a document stamped by the Maistratti, it's a nominal amount. Something like €5-€10 if I remember correctly.
But what is the document and where was it issued?
