Hi all

Can anyone do a vocational training in a kitchen to be a cook in Finland in English without knowing Finnish/Swedish? If yes, what tasks s/he will do in the beginning? Washing dishes? If yes, for how long?

Will he get paid for the work s/he will do in the kitchen? If s/he gets paid, how much will he get per hour?

Yes, but without a school which has the contacts it will be difficult to find a place.

Depends on your skills and experience. But dish washing and potato peeling will be part of it. In most places everyone has to take turns.

Depends if you come as a trainee or an employee. (without training or experience it will be difficult to find a payed position.)

Vocational training in the restaurant business is not usually paid and the best restaurants might even charge. In many places I is slave labour and they don't actually train you.
