Labour law: Moving from apartment/city to another?

Hi Forum,

Is it true that a full-time employee is entitled to 1 paid day leave if she/he wants to move from one apartment/city to another?

I'm not aware of any such law on the national level. However, some collective agreements (and companies) do have that. If you work in the IT sector, then under the 2013 TES you have a day off when you move apartments (clearly this includes cities, as it's quite difficult to move to a different city and stay in the same apartment).
So consult your relevant collective agreement, contract, employee guide, or manager.
