Hi,
I am planning to move to Jyväskylä for this summer (from June to August) and I'd like to find a part-time job. I've been suggested to apply as an aupair, but I'd like to know if I have any other possibilities. I speak English and Spanish perfectly, but not Finnish.
Any info will be wellcome.
Thank you so much. Kiiitooos

Hello, part-time job and summer job and au pair are 3 very different things.
summer jobs are what finnish students (mostly) do during the long summer holidays (1st of June until mid-August).
au pair, means there will be children, right? so you will want to look for a family that speaks your native language.
however, i don't see any family needing an au pair only for a few months, esp. in summer.
in both cases i see a slight chance to find employment in jyväskylä, but it has to be said that finding a job in central finland without speaking finnish will not be easy.
