This Sunday is Restaurant Day all over Finland. Come and discover Saami food by chef Heikki Nikula at the Nordic Culture Centre, Kaisaniemikatu 9, Helsinki.

At the Nordic Culture Centre there is also an exhibition of the Skolt Sámi (free entry).

A new cookbook"Taste of Sápmi" (in English) published par Slow Food in Sweden) will be on sale. This book, published in 2015, has already won several awards internationally and is not yet on sale in Finnish bookshops. We will also have Afghan saffron on sale - this is a fair-trade project organised by Ulla Tillgren.
