Hello,
my name is Hendrik Kordes and I'm a student for business-engineering with the focus on renewable energy in the 8th semester at the Hochschule Harz in Wernigerode/Germany. I'm really interested in making an internship in Helsinki starting in 08/16 or 09/16 for one year if it's possible. I'm searching for an internship in Helsinki because my girlfriend is from Finland and studies in Helsinki. Unfortunately I can't speak Finnish, but I'm fluent in English and German.
You can contact me via e-mail
hendrik.kordes@gmx.net and I would be glad to answer your upcoming questions.
Best regards
Hendrik Kordes

It's highly unlikely that you'll be accepted for an internship in Finland while you reside in Germany through direct employer communication. I highly recommend you try something like IAESTE.
Every case is unique. You can't measure the result of your application based on arbitrary anecdotes online.
