Residence permit question

Post by biz_it » Wed Jun 22, 2016 11:09 am

A friend of mine has received permanent residence. He has become unemployed and now his child needs RP extension. He has not yet started receiving the benefits and he is looking for another job

Now he is worried that since he is unemployed and he has not started receiving the benifits, his child might be denied the RP extension

My question is whether its possible for the child to be denied RP extension because of financial situation of parents if the parents have PR status?

In this case, both mother and father has PR. I guess they cannot just deport the child :D.

Cannot say anything what goes on inside migri, good luck
I guess in that case, the mother and child were applying for asylem. In the above mentioned case, the child needs extension while bother mother and father have PR

Just another question popped to my mind. If someone has a four years specialist type residence permit type A (not employer based) and he loses his job, will his RP be cancelled?

Not enough money for family reunification and no reason for asylum. Newborn's application was still in process so no reason for deportation, yet.
