Reminder fee..should I pay it?

Post by sam_001 » Tue Jul 19, 2016 10:16 am

I had bought a phone from dna. after few months, I got tired of monthly installments so I paid all of it at once and I thought the chapter was closed. Then this year In May they sent me an invoice for 5 euros telling that it was still left. I somehow did not notice the email but on 20 June they sent me a letter to home mentioning 5 euros and the due date was to pay it immediately. I maid the payment immediately

Now on 19 july, they have sent a reminder that I have to pay 5 euros. In my opinion, you get a reminder only if you have not paid something. The letter that I received on 20 June did not add up any reminder fee but the original fee and said to pay it immediately. Now I have two questions

1) Can they really sent a reminder one month after I have paid the fee?
2) If the home post that was sent to me did not contain the reminder fee, can they send another letter for the reminder fee?

Usually reminder is supposed to be sent only when a payment has not been made. I would understand if the letter sent to home had a 5 euros added up but what is with this reminder being sent one month after the payment was made?

P.S I might pay it but just want to make sure I dont keep paying money that I dont owe

Contact them and ask? Most likely they have problem in information flow.

asked them..they said they sent the reminder because I was late in payment the fees is for the reminder...wtf. The customer service said they received the money on 21st June but they sent a reminder on 19th July for a payment that I have already made but because it was late

Is reminder not supposed to be sent only when you have not received the payment? If it was a late fees penalty, it should have been added when the invoice was sent to me in June but sending a reminder one month later is just plain !"#¤%

Dna always do such things. I've been there. Even they send the bill to the money collect company. I left Fin for long time and before that I called them to send me all the bill and stop my number, they did that and later i got the money collect company notice. For this I call Dna and they said you have to talk with the money collect company. I did that Thay just keep pushing me to each other. In the end I think I was lucky enough that a nice guy from the money collect company answered my phone and canceled the bill, that call is only about 1.5 minute. After that I change to Sonera.
