Hi,

Does a Permanant residence holder need to change his permit type if he wants to start his own business. I remember that when I had a work permit of type A based on employment and when I wanted to start my business, the immigration officer told me that I will need to change my permit type to self employment if I wanted to start my own business. I could not start a business with a work permit of type employment

Now that I hold a permanent residence, can I start my own business?
