citizenship question

If I am granted citizenship and I move out of Finland for many years..let's say 10 years to some other country in EU or UK, can my citizenship be cancelled? Will I be granted a renewed passport if I visit a Finnish embassy? Is there any requirement of visiting or staying in Finland in order to retain the citizenship?

You don't lose citizenship - but you lose your KELA benefits etc. if you don't reside in Finland for a certain period.

The only possibility to lose your Finnish citezenship is if you received it while being younger than 22 . They may check if you have strong ties with Finland . I recently asked My lawyers to look into the matter - there has been not a single case over last 5 years when a young person lost the citezenship obtained through naturalisation procedure
