I was just asking to complain about the situation not because I am an insane person but just because actually my apartment has some strange neighbors ". That is the only reason who makes me complaining about things all the time.
If it is so bad as you insinuate, other neighbors will have the same complains. So I understand that you want a petition with many signatures. But are you the right person to initiate that? You need help with the language and you seem not completely familiar with the Finnish culture and how things are done here.
Better talk with some other neighbors first and see what they think about it. It will give you insight if your claim is legit or that you are to sensitive. Then take it from there. (writing a petition or moving out in the woods)
I actually don't understand why you ask here while you have neighbors who you want to join in. They could have easily wrote the thing for you.

Because he doesn't talk to the neighbours is my guess...

If he did he might discover everyone is fine with it and the noise is no big deal and not nearly as bad as he makes out. They are probably not overreacting complainers like the guy in this thread.

Inb4: I have kids in the apartment above me. We hear crying. We hear feet running. I've heard one kid use the v-word in occasional screaming  Then on quiet days, we hear one kid playing some game which involves a marble bouncing onto their wooden floors. That, to a sensitive soul, is akin to water torture.

But big deal. This is apartment living. They've never led me to believe the kids are abused or any different from a typical family, and never disturbed me to the point that I couldn't ignore it or just laugh.
wolf80 wrote:Taking into account your post complaining about sex noises, which is still quite vivid in my memory, and now this post I can honestly only tell you to go and live alone. You are not a person to live in an apartment building with other people. With other people in general You should have a little house somewhere deep in the woods without any neighbors in earshot. Because you will always find something that annoys you. There will always be some noise. And you can't stand any noise it seems.

If everybody else seems to be a problem, then probably you are the problem!

NO! OMG NO! This is NOT how we treat people with a disability, moving them away to make life convenient to everyone else.

Quite frankly I'm disgusted at what you just said. You'll be the jerk who bítches about the disabled person in the restaurant who can't quite manage to get the food in their mouth tidily and is ruining your dining experience by dropping their bread roll.

Disabled people have every right to be just as present in society as you do and are not a "problem to be removed to make life more pleasant for you".

(And yes, I realise we don't actually know if this kid is autistic, but I'm still gobsmacked that there are people out there who think this way.)

A parent of a non-volume-controlled disabled kid is already well-aware their progeny impacts others. Unless you have been there and know how that feels, pipe down unless you have a practical thing to offer which still values them staying right where they are. And that might be as simple as, "Hey I'm going to the shop, do you need me to get you some bread and milk or anything?"

Demonical kid? Does its head spin? Have you tried contacting St. Henry's in case they could send an exorcist?

You don't want to fight with 'some stupid people', then you show pure stupidity by adding 'Especially if advice comes from Finnish ones'.

How old is the kid? If it's a small baby, the crying usually stops at around four months, or at latest by the age of six months. Some babies just cry, and there's nothing you or doctors or anybody can do about it.

But you should be aware that nobody can be given a warning or ordered to move away because of noise made by small children. The noise is considered to be a part of "normal living sounds", which should just be tolerated. However, if the kid is older, a teen or at least close to that age, you can go and talk to the mother about the problem. Don't write any notes, especially not anonymous ones.

I'm new here but I just want to say one thing. I had a lot of talks with a neighbor that had a really annoying kid. In the end they just told me to shove it and that they could legally do whatever they wanted.
So it was either:

1. Wear earplugs all day, every day. Which hurt my ears and didn't even fully block out the sound.
2. Move out.

I moved out. Finland is a nanny state and they absolutely love children and protecting the ridiculous amount of rights that parents have when having a kid. Things like screaming and crying (from a child) are considered completely fine at pretty much all hours of the day. Neighbors just have to get used to it or deal with it.

I found it really funny because after some research, things like loud music were considered to be a nuisance, but screaming kids were exempt.

Suffer or move out. Those are seriously your only options. Letters aren't going to do anything and they are not legally obliged to do a thing.
I wonder if you live in my old block and if it's the same kid.

In other news. One family who have 5 children got a visit from child protective services after their kids caused too many problems and the family fought too often and too loudly, in my old building (this was a different building). After the visit, they quietened down a lot. I still moved due to many other issues and even though they quietened down a lot, the kids were still a pain to live around.

P.S. Some kids have serious issues and scream and cry all day due to severe psychological issues or terrible parenting. It's hard to know which it is and you could try and call child services but there is little you can do about it.

Oh my god, you guys!! I'm such a nice person, you guys!!! I'm not insane!! I'm very sane and nice!!! GUUUUYSSS!!! PLEASE GUYS!!! I'M NICCCEEE!!
I really don't care that's my opinion. Noise makes me annoying. If I put this post is to try to find someone who maybe has same experience than me. But at least don't attack and respect people!!!!!!

The kid is totally sane. His mom just doesn't t know how to educate him
