Unemployment Benefits

Hello everyone,
Could anyone help me with this? As a job seeker who is also pregnant and expecting a baby,what will happen to my unemployment benefits paid to me by my Union?Should I continue as a job seeker or has anyone in this forum been a job seeker while pregnant? Please let me know.Thank you in advance.

You will go on maternity benefits.

Unions do not pay unemployment benefits. The unemployment funds are separate legal entities but they do operate in close co-operation with the unions. Payments from the unemployment funds are always income based. Kela payments do not depend on your previous income.

Thank you all for your responses.The amount I receive from the unemployment fund is income base but I don't know how kela operates in regards to benefits since I've never receive any benefits from kela.
