anyone moved an EU company to Finland?

Post by vincent.uy » Sat Aug 06, 2016 10:48 pm

Hi,
aside from my normal fulltime in Belgium, I registered a hobbie company for software development and photography.

I wonder if I ever move over to Finland, will it be possible to migrate also my hobbie company and what are the main setbacks?

Thanks in advance,
V

Too little information to answer. What is the legal type of the company?

In Belgium it is called "indépendant complémentaire", legally speaking it's a natural person company (liable to debts and taxes).

Then it's mainly a matter of taxation. For the Belgian side you need to ask there. In Finland you just get a new Finnish business id (you would need a local accountant that would help with the details). In some cases it's possible to operate in Finland without a business id.
