Hole punching on the leather watch strap

Post by lkpro91 » Thu Sep 01, 2016 7:58 am

Hi all,

I've just got my new watch and I really love it. Only one problem remains: my wrist seems quite small for the leather strap. I just wonder if there is any place in Helsinki that can punch a clean hole on my watch strap? Well, buying the whole tool kit from Amazon just for a hole doesn't seem economical to me. :(

Cheers,

Go to one of those little places where they repair shoes. There is one in most railway/bus stations and occasionally in the shopping malls. Ask for the price before you have it done.

Hi,
I happened to drop in at Kinaporin Suutari (shoe repair shop) at Sörnäinen this afternoon and asked the price.
The guy showed me the tool to make holes with several different bits for different size holes.
He said that he did not charge anything if it were only a hole or two.

I reckon that they do not bother to charge if the job takes only ten seconds.
Oh, I wish I could hear the same at my favourite local Thai massage shop.
