Jokes aside, I think it's a good deal. If you're good, regardless of the arbitrary number of years of experience, you can get in Helsinki around 5k, but 3k plus the 1k in paid housing sounds like a very good deal to me.

I don't know whether you're a good dev or not, so it's really difficult to tell. What's your LinkedIn thingy?

I am a web developer with some 4/5 years of experience and I am moving to Helsinki. The company I'm going to work for is also based in Helsinki.

I recently have discussed the salary with my employer and though it sounds really good to me (€3000 pre tax), I don't really know if it is in accordance with the market. Does anyone know what I can ask for a monthly gross salary. My employer will pay for my accommodation (about €1000/m).
