I got positive decision today,sharing here a unique and unusual event as well,i received a call from immigration officer yesterday,she asked me 3,4 question,confirming my current residence, asking me about number of visit outside Finland which was only one and i mentioned in application as well,asking my current working company as it was same from beginning ,she was confirming about contract whether it is same which i got when started my job etc,basically she took these question from my application and wanna discuss those with me,dont know about the intention of all this,our conversation last for 2,3 minutes and ending was with nice greetings from both sides,then she made decision on same day,my status was updated to decision is ready but i could read it today when i got an email and sms notification.so be prepared for any kind of situation,a call,an interview etc

Hi, i have made my application in May and happened to make some mistake while filling the application which i just noticed. Can any one let me know if any one have come across similar situation and advice me if it is better to add accurate information as an appendix to the application or writing an email to Migri is better. Any information or suggestion appreciated.

So, actually, the citizenship application takes a week to process. Before that it sits in a queue for 3-4 months before getting "noticed" and another 3-4 months before someone actually starts working on it.

I just applied last November through paper application, does it mean that i can not monitor the progress of my application online? Are there any other way on how to monitor it? thank you.

I have same case. I applied 27.5.2016 through the e-service. they asked me additional paper 2.9.2016. I had submitted on 8.9.2016.

They asked me, recently what I am doing and payslip of my wife.

but shocked, they said. they don't start processing yet. Its shows my page. it is true. but why they asked before processing?

Does somebody knows...I applied online, have been asked for additional documents, I added them online to my account, do I need to bring paper copies to migri - send them by post?
