I'm probably not the most typical member here since my family is all Finnish. We moved to the area of Leppävaara, Espoo and we don't have many friends with kids over here. Of course, new friends without kids are welcome, too!
Both of us, me and my husband, speak English fluently and sometimes we feel that we are a lot more social than average Finns

We have three daughters: 10-, 4 and a 3-year-old. The oldest one studies English and Russian at school. Me and my husband are in our late 20s, we are both engineers and we are interested in music as in playing instruments (saxophone, guitar, double bass for instance), composing and singing. We are also keen on travelling, cooking, cycling, IT, board games and hiking. I'm more like the one who is going everywhere and attending many events in the downtown and hiking in the woods with the kids and a tent, whereas my husband feels more comfortable around his computer programming and composing.
We'd be happy to invite people for a dinner or hang out at a playground. We are also happy to help recently moved people with some basic running things or help with learning Finnish language.
Our kids are used to people who don't speak Finnish. Only the 3-year-old might be a bit shy at first

Feel free to send me a message if you got interested. I hope to hear from you soon
